Computer Use by Appointment

Computer Use by appointment starts Monday, July 13th!

General Information

  •  45-minute limit; no extensions of time.
  • One person per reservation/computer.
  • No browsing or circulation services available except through contact-free pickup system.
  • Printing is free this week, but no computer or printer help is available.

How we are keeping you safe

  • Masks are required and must cover nose and mouth at all times while in the building. This is a municipal as well as a state mandate. Virtual services are available for patrons who are unable to wear masks and thus unable to enter the building.
  • Computers disinfected daily.
  • Hand sanitizer available by all computers.
  • Each patron will be given a disposable keyboard and mouse cover to use for the duration of their stay

To Register for a computer-use appointment

  •  Starting Monday, July 13, contact the library by phone (412-531-1912, press 1), email, or text using the contact info found on our Ask-a-Librarian page
  • You must have an active library card to make an appointment, and you must bring your library card number with you to log on. No guest passes will be available.
  • If you don’t have a library card or your card is expired, you can get a new card online: clcik here
  • Patrons under 8 years of age must have a caregiver with them, and that caregiver must also book an appointment for a computer. 
  • No one will be permitted in the building without a computer appointment.
