For the last five years, Mt. Lebanon Library’s Children’s Department has challenged kids and families to create a book-themed diorama using marshmallowPeeps®. We are excited to continue the tradition virtually for its sixth year and with one major change: we are adding an Adult Category! So let your imagination run wild and see what you can create with those fluffy, sugary bundles of gooey goodness.
Here’s what to do: Create the diorama (a shoebox works as a wonderful staging area). Take a well-lit photo encompassing as much of the diorama as possible, and send it email@example.com March 31 with the following information:
Category (Kids: grade 5 and younger, minimal adult help, Teens: grade 6th-12th, Family: mixed ages or adult help, and, of course,Adult: constructed by folks age 18+ only)
Contact info (in case you win!)
In early April, after the submission deadline, we will post the images online so the public can vote for the best of each category—or, as we like to call it, “The Peep-le’s Choice Award.” The lucky winners will be announced in April and each winner will receive a fabulous basket of goodies!
Each diorama must be based on a book or literary theme.
Characters should be portrayed byPeeps®.
Limit 1 entry per contestant/group.
All entries must be in good taste. We reserve the right to omit any entries we feel are not appropriate for public viewing.
