Let reading Color Your World this summer! Stop by the library for your paper tracker when Summer Reading kicks off on June 9th, or log your reading online with Beanstack. Can't make it to the kickoff on June 9th? No problem! Stop by the Children's Library anytime this summer to pick up a paper tracker.
Kids summer reading is for anyone ages 0-5th grade. Rising 6th graders can participate in the Teen Summer Reading program.
To sign up for Teen or Adult Summer Reading, use the tabs above.
You decide how you want to log your reading to earn points - choose from minutes or books completed (we suggest logging minutes for kids reading chapter books independently)! Stop by the Children's Library and show us your progress each week for a new Brag Tag! When you reach 20 points, you get a book to keep.
  • 30 minutes = 1 point
  • 1 book = 1 point

Activities
In addition to reading, kids can earn points by completing fun learning activities listed on their trackers or on Beanstack!
