The Book Cellar is now selling books and other items online!
Notice: The Used Book Store inside the library remains closed and is not currently accepting donations.
Please keep an eye out for pop-up outdoor Friends of the Library book sales and other fun Book Cellar events throughout the winter months.
The Book Cellar is staffed entirely by volunteers and sponsored by the Friends of Mt. Lebanon Public Library. All profits from the year-round operation of the store benefit the Library. There are also volunteer opportunities within the Book Cellar for patrons and interested community members. For more information, visit the Book Cellar website.
The books we sell mainly come from the generous patrons in our community. Although we appreciate your support, we also ask you to donate only lightly used, items for resale. Please do not leave magazines and VHS tapes. We spend considerable time and energy sorting through the donations and you might be surprised to learn that many of them are not usable. Again, please continue to donate to help make the Book Cellar a great success. Your contributions are tax-deductible.
To drop off books, CDs and DVDs, please use the library's lower level entrance, turn left and proceed towards the end of the corridor. The drop-off area is behind the Donation Station board.
